Wayne Liew Dot Com: Ask Your Blogging Questions At The Right Place

  • Jason Falls · 1 year ago
Nice list of resources. I honestly might turn to a friend who blogs, but never really thought to open up my questions to others. Great places to keep in mind. Thanks for the resource.

Most offline connections are useful only if you are asking them about your blog's navigation. Most my friends don't even know what a blog is...

Doing anything by yourself through trial and error gives the best experience I would say. At least you come to know what things don't work and nothing beats the sense of success after trying so many times.

"Keep a log of problems and solutions"

Yep, that can a huge time saver. Funnily 99.999999% of the blogs in the world still don't have a FAQ page...And the most funny thing is that the A List bloggers keep complaining of email overload when I'm sure they're answering similar questions each day and yet they don't make an FAQ page...

I prefer posting my problem on forums rather than emailing bloggers. The response is much faster and you get good replies if you have a decent enough presence in the forum.

Excellent points highlighted here. I truly think, when it comes to seeking help or information for a specialized topic, its best to trust your good ol friend in the neighbourhood who know s about it. Google may have all of tht, but to get it first hand from someone who has experienced it, is totaly a level above it.
    Thanks for the list.

    @ Jason
I am glad that you like it. Friends give prompt answers but if they are virtual online friends, having to wait is normal.

    @ Ruchir
I guess we are in the same situation in terms of offline friends. My friends do have a blog but it is just about their personal life and they don't have the desire to move into problogging so....

Anyway, having a FAQ page is a great suggestion for those who are receiving tonnes of e-mails asking the same questions over and over again (certainly not me).

    @ Sujoy
Yes, totally agreed. The best is to network around with bloggers within the same niche or with bloggers writing on blogging tips.

    @ Working at Home Mom
Thanks. I am glad that it helps.
